This situation is exacerbated by the fact that 90 percent of adult smokers started before age 19, and smokers who initiate at a younger age are more likely to develop long-term nicotine addiction than those who started later in life.

In Arizona, nearly 25 percent of high-school students smoke, a number that is higher than the national average. Girls are almost as likely to use tobacco as boys, and the behavior cuts across all ethnicities. These facts are a result of the ever-present pressure from the tobacco industry that, according to the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, preys on the public to the tune of $13.4 billion a year in marketing and promotions.

For too long an aggressive mass-media youth tobacco-prevention and -education campaign has been absent in our state. But this month, that all changes with the launch of "Brought to You by Addiction," a comprehensive anti-smoking public-awareness campaign targeted at tweens and teens in Arizona. It will set a precedent as it takes a new approach by capturing the complexity of nicotine addiction for a youth audience and counters a lethargic attitude toward the "health impacts" of smoking.

shop around with your local banks and financial institutions.

you will receive many on-line and internet solicitations...especially those that say ("email me -ican help you or i can do better")...they can not do better and you will only end up in a worse financial situation, in teriible loan that was not trully disclosed to you or you may end up losing your identity to identity theft.

work with your local financial institutions....no one can guarantee to give you a lower rate without first seeing your credit and debt to income ratios.

Is Arizona maricopa city a good home investment?

I want to buy a house in maricopa, AZ but it seems like homes are not resaleing. If I buy a house there now will I make a good profit in the future when I sell?

No one knows what a "good" investment is. I think AZ is a good place to buy a home long term for two reasons. We are not going to run out of sunshine or old people.

I have a question for you. Do you like the property and does it fit your needs into the future. Yes or no
