WASHINGTON - President Obama will release the details of his foreclosure prevention plan Wednesday, the White House announced Friday as several large banks pledged to temporarily stop foreclosures until the program is in place.

Obama will make the eagerly awaited announcement from Arizona, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters Friday afternoon.

That schedule came as J.P. Morgan Chase, Bank of America and Citigroup announced temporary moratoriums on foreclosures at the urging of a key House member.

Top executives from these firms endured tough questioning before the House Financial Services Committee earlier this week, including about whether the banks have done enough to help struggling homeowners. In public statements and letters to the committee released Friday, the banking firms sought to show the extent of their efforts.

J.P. Morgan Chase said it would not begin the foreclosure process on any owner-occupied properties until March 6. "We believe three weeks is adequate time for the Treasury to announce -- and for us to implement -- a new plan," Jamie Dimon, Chase's chief executive, said in a letter to Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., chairman of the committee.

it seems that every time i try to get on my banking page it shows something totaly diferent.

You should probably call your bank and ask them about their website. If there are no problems on their end, there could be a virus or something in your computer that is causing your trouble.

Where can you go to get a bank account in Arizona if your on Chexsystems ?

If you get on chexsystems in Arizona, where can you go to open a bank account? Please keep in mind that the balance reported to Chexsystems has been paid in full. Thanks!

I was on chexsystems and i paid my balance it take up to 7 years for your name to clear so what i did was i went to the bank and they told me to bring back the receipt and prove that i paid the balance off so the bank is going to contact checksystems to get the remove off your name and it will take a couple of weeks when the bank contact them then you can open an account

Does anyone know of a bank or credit union in Arizona that does not use ChexSystems?

Even if they don't use ChexSystems, they'll use one of the competitors and have similar data.
